About Us
The practice has been established for over 30 years and has offices in Colchester and Braintree. We are a general accountancy practice dealing with businesses of many sizes and complexities throughout the region. We offer a free initial consultation to enable us to carry out a fact find and to discuss your requirements. We shall be happy to give an estimate of our fees, which will be based on time spent by the partners and staff in dealing with your affairs.

Vincent Jones FCA
Vincent became senior partner of the firm in 2002. He qualified in 1981 and became a partner of the firm in 1983. As well as his role within the management of the practice he deals with a broad client base. Vincent specialises in taxation advice both for the corporate and private client and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants’ Tax Faculty. He also sits as a board member of the Colchester Business Enterprise Agency.

Tony Bussey FCA
Tony qualified in 1970 after training in Canterbury and working in London. Shortly after joining the firm in 1973 he became a partner. He offers clients the comfort of expertise built up over 30 years. As well as looking after his clients he is the firm’s Investment Business Compliance Partner. |

Andrew Taylor FCA
Andrew qualified in 1982, joined the firm in 1984 and became a partner in 1988. He deals with a diverse portfolio of clients from small businesses to multi-million pound companies. He has a special interest in IT and assists many clients to get the best from their computerised accounting systems. Andrew is the firm’s Audit Compliance Partner and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants’ IT Faculty. |

Jackie Frost ACA
Jackie qualified in 1992 and joined Baker Chapman & Bussey in 1997, becoming a partner two years later. Jackie’s background enables her to deal with a variety of general accountancy matters, but she has a particular expertise in Auditing and Accounts, especially the more unusual compliance areas such as charities or pension schemes. Jackie is a committee member of the North Essex Chamber of Commerce and a member of the local Pro-Help Panel. |
